Yes, it's trashy. Yes, it's not even Japanese! Yes, nobody would even entertain the idea of eating there with me. Which is why I decided to lunch alone and sit down with this wonderful, wonderful bowl of Niku Udon. Have not had it for 3 years or so because of the lack of dining partners.
It was heaven.
