After eating creme brulee at Raffety's, I decided that I should attempt to make one of my own at home.
The baking of it wasn't a problem - got it done very quickly and easily. It was the caramel on the top that was the tricky part.
Pictures show the progression from uncaramelized to the final product. All 3 of us in the house had a crack at it, with varying results.
Tip- Don't put too much sugar on - it's not necessary. A light dusting will suffice.
